Lorraine Palumbo is currently a Senior Relationship Associate/Assistant Vice President with the Wells Fargo San Antonio Regional Commercial Banking Office and is responsible for a portfolio of Commercial Banking middle market relationships. Lorraine’s 43 year banking career started at Union State Bank located on the Southside of San Antonio working as a Lending Assistant. She also worked as assistant to the bank CEO, General W.T. Hudnell. During this period Lorraine had the privilege of working with many of the Southside’s well known bankers and businessmen who were responsible of many of the changes to this growing area of San Antonio which included agricultural, military, and business communities. Lorraine also survived several significant changes to the bank during her tenure. In 1982 Union State Bank became Union Bank after being acquired by Tom E, Turner, Sr., a long time component of the Southside. Union Bank was closed by FDIC on October 31, 1991 and assets and liabilities of Union Bank were later acquired by Channelview Bank who eventually changed the name to Prime Bank. In 2000 Prime Bank was acquired by Wells Fargo & Co. Lorraine began her career with Wells Fargo in May 2000, working as assistant to Ron Mercer, Regional Vice President of the San Antonio Regional Commercial Banking Office. In 2004 Lorraine transition to Relationship Associate and began servicing the banking needs of a variety of middle market clients nationwide. Lorraine earned her CTP in 2009 and continues to enjoy servicing the needs of her clients.
